Technical developments
Beta Testing of the Mosaic validators has been started ⚙️
The validators on Mosaic’s test solochain are consistently building blocks without errors or downtime, maintaining stable consensus.
Developments of Mosaic Chain’s Decentralized Indexer ⚙️
One of the Mosaic Chain’s essential infrastructure includes a decentralized implementation of blockchain indexing. The decentralized indexer serves several purposes:
- It avoids the need to use centralized indexer services (but these will still be available for use).
- As Mosaic Chain nodes simultaneously provide indexing services to the community, it eliminates the “single point of failure” nature of on-chain data retrieval, adding an extra layer of security to the Mosaic ecosystem.
The Validator Dashboard, Mosaic Chain’s First User Interface is Taking Shape ⚙️
The Validator Dashboard will be the first frontend that the Mosaic Community will interact with. It meets a fundamental need where the validators hosts who maintain Mosaic Chain can monitor on-chain actions, control their own validators and monitor its performance. This is closely tied to the querying of on-chain data from the decentralized indexing infra, which will undergo further refinements in the coming months.
Events During 2024 Q1 — Sub0 & Polkadot Day
Sub0, Polkadot Network’s largest developer conference, was held again, this time in Bangkok, Thailand. As in 2023 at the Lisbon Sub0, Mosaic Chain also participated in the event, which allowed us to establish new partnerships with infrastructure providers in various areas of the ecosystem, including wallets, Parachain projects and infrastructures.

The Future of Polkadot
At the Bangkok conference, Mosaic Chain not only built good relationships and promising partnership opportunities but also gained new insights into the promising changes affecting the core infrastructure: the transition to Polkadot 2.0. Gavin Wood, Polkadot’s co-founder, presented directions for the ecosystem that could open new horizons for all Parachains. In the upcoming months new upgrades will scale up the entire Polkadot Ecosystem with new technologies, such as Asynchronous Backing, and Agile Coretime.
Mosaic Chain at the Budapest Blockchain Community Week on the Polkadot Day
The events continued at Polkadot Day, the largest in-person gathering of Budapest Blockchain Community Week. Wigy, the Lead Blockchain Architect of Mosaic Chain, gave a presentation and workshop explaining Mosaic Chain’s decentralized indexer. This indexer aims for fully trustless data transmission directly from Mosaic validators to public RPC endpoints.
Partnership Collaborations
Mosaic Chain established connections with several emerging and established projects with which Mosaic Chain will need to work closely in the future to enhance mutual liquidity and user base growth. The basis of partnership collaborations is long-term planning and shared values and thinking. The Mosaic Team approached several projects with this mindset, and collaborations have begun.
